sergio sánchez (jazznoize / red kite) is a sonic artist from spain, who has been recording material since 2005.
his projects meander around experimental music, from electroacoustic to drone, transforming the acoustic environment that surrounds us all. his conception of sonic manipulation is that of a frontal fight against the old art and bourgeois values.
his work is mainly based on capturing sound realities walking towards a complete conception of concrete music directly related to its historical time period.
he considers himself an iberian noisemaker, and has recorded for about 30 netlabels and independent labels in europe and america. his music has been aired on spanish national radio programs [radio clásica: ars sonora, vía límite; radio 3: sismógrafo, fluido rosa and atmósfera] as well as independent radio stations in countries like the netherlands, belgium, peru, venezuela, argentina.
he has collaborated in music series [cam cultural hall in alicante], performed at festivals [experimentaclub, estampa…], cultural centers [puertas de castilla, f.a. clínica mundana, plutón, matadero, T20 gallery, CAAC sevilla, MUBAM]. he has also collaborated with artist such as daniel menche, francisco lópez, adam pacione, slavek kwi, marc behrens, vitor joaquim, miguel carvalhais, pedro tudela, rafael flores, adrià bofarull, miguel a. ruiz, pablo reche, eli gras, zan hoffman, hal mcgee, tsukiko amakawa, miguel a. garcía [xedh], marta sainz, josep lluís galiana, mark cunningham, carlos Ssárez, andrés jankowski, javier piñango, juan josé raposo, joan bagés rubí, a.l. guillén.
he has written several silent film soundtracks and for contemporary dance, and has shared the stage with cluster, soisong, acid mothers temple, most significant beat, silver apples, francisco lópez, christian galarreta, among others.
