ZLE OKO is the trashy collage and punk-noise-drone project of Olga 23. Originally from Warsaw, Poland, she is currently based in Oslo, Norway. Her political lyrics are inspired by the sad current social issues of her country of origin (Poland). She also explores the contexts of folk demonology and symbols.
ZLE OKO created Cykuta in her home studio in Oslo during the spring and summer of 2018. The sound is: burned out, a scorched strip of land. Clenched fists. Asleep in peace.
*Todas Las Anteriores is a Mexican ensemble that focuses on sound improvisation and experimentation with electronic media. The members of the ensemble, Piaka Roela and Libertad Figueroa, create a conversation between SuperCollider live coding and sampling, and an exploration of sounds produced with decontextualized electric guitar and objects.
Mis ojos arden en el espacio ciego was inspired by the poem called The Awake Monologue (in Spanish Monólogo del Despierto) written by the Mexican poet, translator and journalist, Margarita Michelena. The songs correspond to fragments of the poem. It is a musical interpretation of the ideas that Michelena portrayed, described and reflected on about sleep and dreams, life and death as well as music.
Wilhelm Matthies mostly records in the studio releasing solo, duet and group pieces on Soundcloud and his micro-netlabel, darkpebble-bluewave. Mostly his music is contemporary classical either as free improvisation or using graphic composition. Since 2012 Wilhelm has been developing the mosesa, a string instrument that allows for maximum access to the string spectrum and allows various sounding boards to be attached.
Reid Karris is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound enthusiast and improviser hailing from Chicago, Illinois trying very hard to get all the music stuck in his head out for all the world to hear. After spending years as an odd guitarist trying to fit in with the world of rock music Reid shifted his focus towards improvisation, noise, drone and avant-garde.
roots and ripples is an internet collaboration. In march of 2018, Wilhelm and Reid each recorded three tracks on their own and then exchanged them to finish the other’s pieces. The sound is: earthy scratches, smears, thumps and bumps, and ringing, clear bell tones. Sometimes crashing and crackling.

andrew voigt is a founding member of ROVA saxophone quartet. he composes for a wide variety of instruments and has performed throughout the world. ed herrmann composes and performs with analog modular electronics, percussion, traditional and invented instruments.

Eliana Rosales is a cellist and audiovisual producer, a director and post-producer of music videos for installations, a soundtrack composer. She is a currently a teacher and is pursuing a degree in electronic arts at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero.

most of his recent projects explore the idea of democracy in art: the artists’ individual responsibilities and their place in the social group as well as those of the members of the audience are challenged and questioned.
death & the maiden was an ephemeral experimental metal project that tried to understand the fundamental essence of metal. it focused strictly on this essential material and developed it into a single piece for cello, drums, and vocals that was recorded live in geneva in 2011.

“make sure you have exhausted all that is communicated through stillness and silence” is a duet between dancer/choreographer ioannis mandafounis and cellist/composer brice catherin. it is also a duet: between performers and their audience; between a performance and a venue; between a cellist and a cello; between a dancer and his body; between stillness and silence.
the album includes three different versions of the still part of “make sure you have exhausted all that is communicated through stillness and silence”, as well as another short piece by brice catherin: four piano strings. four piano strings is a duet between a performer and a piano, and a venue, and silence. as a bonus, there are two tracks of brice tuning.
